At Vindis Group, we believe in making tyre replacements hassle-free. That’s why we remove the tyre disposal fee, so you can have your old tyres responsibly recycled free of charge.
Stay Safe: Know the Legal Tyre Tread Depth
The minimum legal tyre tread depth is 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre2.
Driving with tyres below this depth is illegal and can result in a £2,500 fine and three penalty points per tyre.
At Vindis Group, we recommend replacing your tyres when the tread reaches 3mm, as braking distances increase significantly below this level. Regular checks help maintain performance and safety.
