The showroom at Bedford Audi is the perfect place to find your next Audi. Having undergone a renovation in 2016, the showroom is now a 12 car showroom with new modern service facilities and a designated handover bay. We also have a dedicated team of accredited Sales Executives on hand to make your experience the best it can be.
When you need to maintain your Audi, the team at Bedford are here to help. Our Service Advisors will be your point of contact and will ensure that you fully understand the work that our Audi trained Technicians will be carrying out on your car.
All vehicles that are sold by the Vindis Group are subject to an administrative / preparation fee of £90 inc VAT. For new vehicles this charge covers the cost of mechanically preparing the vehicle for delivery, the administration of new ownership documentation and final preparation for customer handover.
For used vehicles, this charge covers a full history and provenance check prior to being advertised for sale ensuring no financial risk or charge has been levied against the vehicle, that the vehicle has never been written off or stolen and final preparation for customer handover.
Vindis Group believe this level of preparation is crucial in ensuring we provide the highest level of customer satisfaction, for which the Vindis Group is renowned for.
We are delighted that in line with Government guidance, that all Vindis Group businesses are open as of June 1st for both sales and service.
Although we are delighted to be able to welcome people to our retailers, we also want to do this responsibly and safely to protect both customers and employees including introducing social distancing and sanitisation measures throughout our showrooms. As you know, there are several things that have to be covered prior to taking delivery and we wanted to share these with you to ensure your handover runs as smoothly as possible.
We appreciate that you may have been surfing the internet trying to find the best insurance quote for your vehicle and acknowledge that this can sometimes take some time. In an attempt to take the stress away from rushing this, we can offer you a complimentary 5 Day Free Insurance through Audi, allowing you plenty of time to find the right insurance for you.
To take up this offer, all you have to do is contact Audi 5 Day Free Insurance on 0345 8776236 - quoting "Bedford Audi, dealer 164". They usually provide you with an insurance quote at the same time as confirming the free insurance, but don't worry, this does not mean you have to use them for your insurance, the decision is yours.
If you have just purchased a brand new vehicle then we will of course ensure this vehicle is taxed prior to you taking delivery. If you have purchased an Approved Used vehicle then you have the responsibility of ensuring the vehicle is taxed prior to it being driven on a public highway. This process can be easily completed online and can be done in advance or we are happy to help you complete this during your handover.
Part exchanging a vehicle?
If you have chosen to part with your existing vehicle through us then we request you bring all the necessary documents relating to that vehicle i.e. V5 Logbook, MOT Certificate (if applicable), the handbook, service history and all of the vehicle's keys.
It is also important to advise that whilst we will have given you a price for your vehicle, this may be subject to change depending on the condition/mileage when it is handed over to us. However in absolute transparency with you, we will carry out another full appraisal of the vehicle on the day of handover and will keep you fully aware of if there are any changes in the vehicle valuation, as well as the reasons why.
Funding your New/Approved Used vehicle
To ensure the handover process runs efficiently, we require that all vehicle funds are cleared prior to collection and we have several options in place for you to ensure this:
If you choose to pay using cash, due to money laundering legislation, we only take a maximum of £500 in any one transaction so if your new vehicle costs more than this, the balance would need to be transferred via one of the other methods above.
