The brand-new Volkswagen Caddy arrives this year in both panel van and passenger carrying models, and we’re excited for you to see all the upgrades. With its world premiere scheduled for next month, there’s not long to wait for those thinking of a van upgrade this year.
The new Caddy Cargo is the panel van version of this new van, with an updated look for the new year. Having been completely redesigned from the inside out, and available in two wheelbases, the new Caddy is wonderfully spacious and offers more assistance systems than ever before. Its new look is noticeable thanks to a slightly more sloping roofline at the rear, whilst the short wheelbase has become longer and gained new, larger wheels. The redesigned front headlights frame the grille and stretch around to the elegant side lines on the vehicle’s body. Design aside, it’s the Caddy you know and love; flexible, practical and with lots of load space, (you can carry up to 700kg with ease, including up to 100kg on the roof.) The three trim levels offer a high specification as standard, including a 6.5” colour touch screen, Bluetooth, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel and Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Front Assist with Pedestrian Monitoring.
There’s also the passenger carrying Caddy models; the standard and maxi wheelbase, in addition to the higher-specification Life and Maxi Life models. The standard versions of each feature a two-seat bench and single seat in the second row, whilst the Maxi models add two additional seats in the third row. There’s a 12v socket, five interior lights, carpet floor heated rear windows and sliding trunk cover. For a more innovative experience inside the cabin, why not choose the optional Digital Cockpit and 10” Discover Media satellite navigation system. The Life versions of the new Caddy offer drawers under the seats for extra storage, a waste bin, leather multi-function steering wheel and adjustable lumbar support for the front seats.
A range of engines are available in both Caddy and Caddy Cargo models, so for more information please contact a member of the team at Vindis Van Centre Northampton.
