A brand-new special edition Bentley Mulsanne has been revealed, limited to just 100 vehicles, to celebrate the Bentley’s upcoming centenary in 2019.
The Mulsanne W.O Edition by Mulliner, named after founder Walter Owen Bentley, will make its public debut in California later this year, at the Monterey Car Week. A true collector’s item, the W.O Editions will each contain a piece of the crankshaft from W.O Bentley’s very own 8 Litre car, displayed within a window on the illuminated cocktail cabinet.
The 8 Litre was originally launched back in 1930 and W.O Bentley’s very own 8 Litre was the second off the production line. The original vehicle was purchased back by Bentley Motors in 2006 where the original crankshaft was replaced.
The Mulsanne W.O Edition can be specified on any of the available Mulsanne models, depending on the customer’s preference. As you would expect, this special edition comes with the most luxurious of options, including lambswool rugs, rear window curtains, a rear seat entertainment system and glass tumblers.
Onyx paintwork comes as standard on the model, though this can be replaced should you prefer something a little more personal. The bonnet gleams with chrome detailing and graceful flying B mascot, whilst inside a split hide interior stands this model apart from the rest. The Beluga black alloy wheels finish the W.O Edition package perfectly.
The 10th July marked the countdown to the brand’s centenary, and we can look forward to many celebrations throughout 2019.
