The new SEAT Tarraco is set to arrive at the beginning of 2019, and is the third SUV to join the SEAT range, sitting above the current Ateca and Arona. The Tarraco will be available in two well-equipped trims, the SE and the top of the range Xcellence.
The Tarraco, named after the Spanish port city of Tarragona, will arrive with seven seats as standard and mixes modern technologies with SEAT’s brand-new design language. This new design includes a more prominent grille for an imposing road presence, 100% LED lighting both inside and outside the vehicle and a choice of eight beautiful colours. This spacious SUV is the new flagship model and we can’t wait for it arrive.
With agile-handling and driver friendly interior technologies, the new Tarraco can be set to suit the driving style of whoever is behind the wheel, thanks to Dynamic Chassis Control and the option to select a preferred setting depending on road or journey type. Lane Assist and Front Assist are standard on the new Tarraco whilst a range of other optional systems are available to personalise your vehicle.
A range of efficient engines will be available with direct-injection, start-stop technology and turbocharging; two petrol (a 1.5 litre and a 2.0 litre), and two diesels (both 2.0 litre), offering from 150PS up to 190PS. High powered engines come with 4DRIVE as standard for those more demanding trips.
Inside you’ll notice the 10.25” Digital Cockpit, which puts a wealth of easy-to-access information right in front of the driver, replacing the traditional instrument dials. In addition to this, an 8” screen inside offers a range of connectivity options and this can be upgraded to Navigation Plus to include the fantastic gesture control functions.
