An update on the development of Cambridge Volkswagen
A huge development at the Vindis Group’s new Cambridge Volkswagen retailer is just weeks away from its planned opening in late-October.
Replacing the previous showroom, the building is next door to the new ŠKODA Cambridge showroom on Milton Road, which opened in early 2018 and is conveniently accessible from the A14.
The modern space will include a specialist and dedicated sales facility, bringing the very highest standards and customer-centric experience to Cambridge.
The showroom will feature dedicated customer parking, a car configurator, over 50 Approved Used vehicles and a huge range of models across the Volkswagen passenger car range, alongside three electric vehicle charging points.
Whilst the redevelopment continues, Cambridge Volkswagen is still fully operational at four locations around the area:
The Service Centre offers extended opening hours between 7am and 7pm, meaning customers can avoid rush hour when dropping off and collecting their vehicles. The new Formula 1 service bay there also offers minor services, MOTs and simple repairs in under an hour, with appointments available from 7am to 6pm. Inside, there is a customer concierge service offering a meet and greet at the entrance, free hot and cold drinks and Wi-Fi. You can relax on the airport lounge style seating whilst children can entertain themselves in the bespoke play area whilst you wait. Should you need to continue working during your visit, private offices can be booked in advance.
Vindis Cambridge Service Centre offers a range of enhanced collection and delivery services, as well as a shuttle bus from the centre to several destinations across the city.

All vehicles that are sold by the Vindis Group are subject to an administrative / preparation fee of £90 inc VAT. For new vehicles this charge covers the cost of mechanically preparing the vehicle for delivery, the administration of new ownership documentation and final preparation for customer handover.
For used vehicles, this charge covers a full history and provenance check prior to being advertised for sale ensuring no financial risk or charge has been levied against the vehicle, that the vehicle has never been written off or stolen and final preparation for customer handover.
