The start of an award-winning year saw Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles take home five trophies from the 2018 Business Van Awards.
The new Crafter, which was voted Auto Express’ Van of the Year 2017, won Business Van’s Best Heavy Van, thanks to "every configuration van operators could wish for, a brilliant interior, and a host of technology aids."
The Amarok V6, which is already sporting its International Pick-up for the Year award, also took home Business Van’s Pick-up of choice, with the judges describing the vehicle as "smart but rugged… with a great range of abilities."
Taking home a win for the Best Crew Van, the Transporter Kombi saw off the competition for the fourth consecutive year and the Caddy had a double win with Best Small Trades Van and the coveted Van of the Year award.
Every model in the Commercial Vehicle line-up secured a class win, proving that if you’re searching for a new vehicle for your business, you’re in safe hands with Volkswagen.
The current range is unique in that it currently has the most up-to-date range of any van manufacturer having most recently re-launched the Crafter in 2017, the Amarok in December 2016 and the Caddy and Transporter at the end of 2015. All vehicles are safe, (with the brand being the first to include autonomous braking systems to all vans), secure and can be personalised to either your taste or your business needs, so if you’re looking for something in particular our knowledgeable teams at St Ives and Northampton can help make the process an easy one.
David Hanna, Head of Fleet for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles commented on their win; "This is a fantastic result and a great way for the brand to start 2018. For all of our models to triumph in their categories demonstrates the breadth of our range. The Business Vans award is a seal of approval for SME customers, giving them confidence to know they’re choosing the right product for their business."
