Government brings forward petrol and diesel ban

05.02.2020

The government’s initial ban on the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles, originally set for 2040, has been brought forward to 2035, and now includes the sale of hybrids too.

In order to hit zero emission targets by 2050, experts warned that a 2040 ban would be too little too late, meaning much more would need to be done to introduce buyers to the exciting world of electric vehicles.

With the rise of such vehicles across a number of our brands here at the Vindis Group, and with local electric vehicle infrastructures getting better and better, it’s a fantastic time to take a look at how we can help you make an electrifying choice for your next vehicle!

If you’ve been thinking about bringing an electric vehicle into your life, our dealerships will be happy to talk you through not only the current range, but also some brand-new vehicles we are expecting as we head through 2020.

In the meantime, why not take a look at what’s currently available, and make your move towards emission-free driving.
