Can you believe it’s been 20 years since the Audi TT arrived with us back in September 1998? Now in its third generation, the Audi TT is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a range of upgrades to the current TT line-up, and a very special edition, that will be limited to just 999 models worldwide.
Subtle visual lifts to the exterior include the new three-dimensional grille design, larger air inlets and a range of new colour and wheel options, for those who really like to personalise their vehicle. Cosmos Blue and Pulse Orange ensure you stand out from the rest, whilst Turbo Blue can be chosen on the top two trims.
Available in Sport, S line and Black Edition, the latter two trims offer a new front splitter and remodelled diffuser. The S line shows off stunning 19” alloy wheels, whilst the top-spec Black Edition stands tall on new 20” alloys. The addition of a fixed rear spoiler, previously only available on the impressive TT RS, gives a super sporty look to this already aggressive looking trim.
Inside the cabin you’ll find the brand’s exquisite Audi Virtual Cockpit, giving new life to the interior of your vehicle. Sports seats, Cruise control, Rear Parking System and Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights come as standard on the starting trim, with a range of upgrades are available to suit every driver.
High powered engines making driving the TT a rewarding driving experience with a 2.0 litre TFSI, with 197PS, replacing the outgoing 1.8 litre. The existing 2.0 litre, 230PS engine has been boosted to 245PS, badged in the new Audi style as 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI respectively.
Finally, we have the highly limited TT 20 years edition, which will be available in both Coupe and Roadster models and will feature a range of exterior design changes and extra equipment. These changes include seats finished in moccasin brown Nappa leather with contrast stitching to mimic the ‘baseball leather’ upholstery of the early cars. TT 20 years badges will feature on the steering wheel and gear stick, with new designed stainless-steel exhaust pipes, Matrix LED rear lights and matt finished Audi rings above the side sills. This limited edition will be available to order this Autumn with first deliveries expected towards the end of this year.
