The new Caddy California brings all the fun of the California campervan to the most compact member of the CV family. It packs in comfort, connectivity and convenience whether you’re spending the night away or heading further afield for a longer trip. This brand new model is now open for order at Vindis Van Centre Northampton.
Open the tailgate and you’ll find a hugely versatile mini-kitchen that simply pulls out from the Caddy, giving you lots of space to prepare something delicious. There’s a gas stove and plenty of storage, including cutlery storage to keep everything in one place. The Caddy California also arrives with two foldable chairs and a foldable table, which secure neatly within the Caddy when you’re on the move.
After your busy day out, head back to the campervan to the comfort of the foldout bed, which even offers under-bed storage so you can keep the living areas tidy. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the night, with a disc-spring mattress and optional panoramic roof to watch the stars. The privacy blinds and adjustable lighting will make the Caddy California your true home from home.
Of course, driving is an enjoyable experience too with three engine choices, from a 1.5l petrol to a 2.0l diesel with up to 122PS. Manual and Automatic gearboxes are available across the range. Inside the Caddy California is all about connectivity, with a range of infotainment systems, including one with a navigation system on a HD, 10 inch display. On the road you can feel safe knowing there’s a range of assistance systems keeping things on track. Front Assist with City Emergency Braking operates between 3 and 52mph and automatically detects dangers in front to apply the brakes, just in case you don’t react in time. For extra ease of driving there’s Cruise Control and Active Lane Assist as standard, meaning your relaxing holiday starts the moment you step inside.
