The ŠKODA Kodiaq has fought off competition from the Land Rover and Kia to take first place in a recent Auto Express head-to-head.
Building on the success of the popular Yeti crossover, the ŠKODA Kodiaq is the brand’s first full SUV and is currently available to pre-order at Vindis Milton Keynes SEAT. Available in 6 specifications, some five and some seven seaters, you can opt for petrol or diesel models and a choice of manual or auto gearboxes.
The Auto Express team took the ŠKODA Kodiaq Edition 2.0 TDI 190 DSG 4x4 out on their test, and the vehicle impressed early into the review. The Edition trim is the top spec available and offers metallic paint, lane assist, wireless phone charging and leather upholstery amongst a range of other highlights over SE L trim.
Despite stiff competition from the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Kia Sorento, the ŠKODA Kodiaq rose to the top with the AE team commenting that “it’s well equipped and offers more comfort and practicality than its rivals. It’s also cheaper to buy and will be cost-effective to run.”
