The current ŠKODA Kodiaq is the What Car? 2017 Large SUV of the year, thanks to its comfortable ride, competitive price and premium-feel interior. With one of the best interior spaces in its class, up to seven seats, and with high residual values, the ŠKODA Kodiaq is the perfect addition to any family wanting to rediscover their adventurous side.
Building on the current model’s success, ŠKODA have revealed an upcoming Scout model which will be revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show (which is open to the public from 9th to 19th March, if you’re interested in seeing this exciting new model first-hand!).
ŠKODA’s Scout range, which currently includes the Octavia Scout, is aimed at those who really want to take full advantage of a vehicle’s off-road capability. The new Kodiaq Scout comes with ŠKODA’s Rough-Road Package which includes underbody and engine protection in a stylish, contrasting silver finish.
Features on this new model include 19-inch alloy wheels, tinted rear and side windows, Drive Mode Select, Off-Road Assist, Rear-Park Assist, automatic transmission and air-conditioning as standard. On the inside your new ŠKODA Kodiaq Scout will come equipped with a multifunction steering wheel, eight speakers, LED ambient lighting, floor mats and Alcantara seats and trim.
The choice of engines includes two petrol and two diesels; a 1.4 TSI 150PS, 2.0 TSI 180PS, 2.0 TDI 150ps and a 2.0 TDI 190PS. All engines are equipped with all-wheel drive as standard.
The Kodiaq’s off-road capabilities are strengthened thanks to 194mm of ground clearance and approach and departure angles of 22 and 23.1 degrees. With the Rough-Road Package protecting all the important engine, brake and fuel cables you and the family can travel comfortably, safe in the knowledge that your Kodiaq Scout can get you home safely, no matter how harsh the terrain may be.
We look forward to seeing the full reveal at the Geneva International Motor Show this March, and if you would like to keep updated, make sure you contact the team at your local Vindis ŠKODA retailer.
