The smart ŠKODA Octavia has won an exciting award in the 2019 J.D. Power dependability study, taking home gold for the most dependable Compact Car.
The study, which asks over 11,000 drivers about their satisfaction with their vehicle after 12-36 months, looks into a number of categories where potential issues could arise including the interior, exterior, engine, audio, entertainment and heating. Driving experience is also a factor meaning the study is a fantastic way at looking at the overall satisfaction of a particular model.
The Octavia is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary, with the current model having been in production since 2016. Since then it has taken home 15 industry awards, securing its place as a much-loved family car.
The Octavia is available in both Hatch and Estate variants from the S base model, which offers incredible value and includes 16” alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a leather steering wheel, to the top of the range vRS. The up-to 245PS vRS model offers a performance-oriented drive and offers all the stylish design features to ensure you stand out from the crowd.
In addition, the annual Honest John awards have handed over two top awards for the Kodiaq and the Superb. As with the J.D Power survey, the Honest John awards are chosen by drivers rather than a judging panel, meaning it’s those using the vehicles on a daily basis that influence the results. The Superb took Best Large Car, with praise being given to its ‘refined drive, comfortable cabin and low running costs.’
ŠKODA’s large SUV, the Kodiaq, has held onto its title of SUV of the Year and once again impressed with its standard equipment, sharp looks and family-friendly versatility. Why not drop into one of our showrooms, in Cambridge or Bury St. Edmunds, to discover yours?
