ŠKODA Superb iV hybrid

21.11.2019

The new ŠKODA Superb iV hybrid is now open for order, offering further choice to those looking for a greener option when purchasing their next new car.

It arrives as the first model to receive a plug-in hybrid powertrain, meaning that combined with the engine you can travel up to a huge 578 miles on one tank and one charge. The Superb iV produces less than 65g of CO2 per mile*, and has a fully electric range of 35 miles**.

There’re some subtle changes to the Superb’s body with remodelled bumpers, and a wider grille. Not only does this give the car a sportier look, but it also blends seamlessly with the full LED headlights for a much sleek appearance.

There’s three Driving Mode Select options, offering Sport. E-Mode and Hybrid mode. Each offers a slightly different driving experience, depending on your journey. Sport mode puts power (218PS) at the forefront, whilst in E-mode the car is powered solely by the electric motor. In Hybrid mode, the car cleverly balances power between the petrol engine and battery in order to optimise the range and offer a more efficient drive.

There’s four trims to choose from, from SE Technology up to the top of the range L&K. Opting for SportLine Plus or L&K gives you the fantastic Virtual Cockpit as standard, with its high resolution display replacing traditional dials.
