When you are looking at purchasing your next Audi vehicle you will more than likely come across the Audi Vorsprung trim lines. If you recognise the name, it’s because it comes from the Audi Slogan ‘Vorsprung Durch Technik’; German for ‘progress through technology’ which is apparent when you are viewing Audi vehicles, considerably so with the Audi Q5.

When Audi were developing the e-tron, it was tested to extremes: in their wind tunnel, the e-tron was able to withstand gusts of wind up to 300km/h, stronger than a category 5 hurricane which consists of winds over 251km/h.

Audi has recently introduced their Predictive efficiency assistant which enables your vehicle to reduce fuel consumption of up to 10%. Using data from the navigation system to enable the car to slow down in an anticipatory manner.

Each Vorsprung vehicle offers Adaptive Cruise Assist, employing an array of sensors and cameras to help monitor up to 250m ahead allowing you to automatically keep your distance whilst in traffic. The assistant can accelerate, brake and steering input to assist you in a variety of driving situations.

The Audi e-tron can exceed 62 miles of range in less than 10 minutes when charging on a 150 kW KC charger. Additionally, the e-tron can achieve 80% charge in 30 minutes and a full charge in 50 minutes which is at least as fast as the latest smartphones.

Even when taking into account an Audi coat of paint, Vorsprung is in everything that they do. Ultra-thin, ultra-sparkle – using the latest technologies. At just one tenth of a millimetre, the paint on an Audi is no thicker than a human hair. Regardless of this, car paint must continue to be resistant to environmental influences and wear – and has remained so for decades on the roads.

Using radar sensors Audi have made leaving a junction far safer. Using Cross Traffic Assist technology your vehicle can automatically apply the brakes if it senses anything about to cross your path.

No matter the length or the weather you use your car in, the Audi scent specialists known as the ‘Nose Team’ have considered those humid days when choosing the materials, they have added to your car. Even under extreme conditions you Audi will always been smelling fresh.
