The team cycled hard and our two days of cycling saw us rack up an incredible 721.6 miles, which is nearly 2.5x our original goal. Looks like we're going to have to up the ante next time! It was great to see how much support the team received, which is testament to just how worthwhile Mind is, and how far-reaching their support is to those experiencing Mental Health issues. We're pleased to announce we've hit the £1500 fundraising mark, far more than we ever thought possible. Thank you all for your support. Here's to the next challenge!
In aid of World Mental Health Day on Thursday 10th October, the Head Office Team have taken on the challenge of cycling the distance between all Vindis Group dealerships, totalling 290.45 miles. That's 20 stops, 2 days and a whole heap of willing participants! Whilst we would love to do this in practice, we wanted to make the event as inclusive (and safe) as possible and so we’ll be doing the entire route, from the confines of Huntingdon Volkswagen on 2 exercise bikes (gulp.)
You may or may not have heard about the benefits that exercise has on the mind; not only does it give you a big old dose of endorphins (your happy hormones), you will come away feeling wide awake and full of energy. Good for the mind and body, what better way to honour the cause and our many wonderful sites?
Whilst our primary cause for doing such an event is to raise awareness, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity, Mind, whose goal is to ensure all those experiencing mental health problems receive support and respect. It's an ethos that we actively seek to promote within the working environment, every day.

For used vehicles, this charge covers a full history and provenance check prior to being advertised for sale ensuring no financial risk or charge has been levied against the vehicle, that the vehicle has never been written off or stolen and final preparation for customer handover.
