The electric car revolution is happening and in their latest Christmas themed advert, Audi have embraced the electric theme by swapping Santa’s boring old sleigh for a standout Audi e-tron GT concept*. Translating progress into progressive design. Combining clear lines with a clear attitude!
With Savile Row looks and racetrack performance
The latest Audi advert seen below, shows a sharply dressed 2020 version of Santa looking very impressed with this replacement sleigh and why wouldn’t he? This full electric concept embodies premium quality and high-end powerful dynamics. The roof line is drawn far back before it tapers off and the shoulders and wheel arches of the Audi e-tron GT concept* are deliberately emphasized and underscore the low centre of gravity.
The wide proportions of this progressive ambassador could be something we begin to expect with future Audi electric cars? The singleframe at the front of the concept car emphasizes its Audi DNA. But its statement encompasses much more than its exterior and performance. It’s about progress, passions and attitude.
It’s no longer a trend, it’s a lifestyle
The design language of this new e-tron GT concept* is just a glimpse of what we can expect from the brand in the future. Progressiveness and desirability have always been clear to those that follow the four rings but now it has become more apparent than ever before that being ahead of the game isn’t enough. With the RS division having been so successful with models such as the RS6 and RSQ8 over the last year. Audi’s design team want to change the game completely, and we’re okay with that.
The first steps of this new Audi vision started with the already, very successful e-tron and e-tron Sportback but the e-tron GT isn’t about matching what is currently available. It’s about driving the electrification of tomorrow’s premium mobility.
