We’ve been waiting (rather impatiently) for the arrival of Volkswagen’s brand-new, all-electric ID range, and thankfully the wait is over. Volkswagen recently opened pre-booking of the first model in the range, the I.D 3, and for a very special limited edition, the I.D 3 1st.
Having been teased with a number of concept vehicles for the ID range, which at the time of writing includes the I.D Vizzion, I.D Crozz and I.D Buzz, we’re excited to finally get some details on this new era of electric mobility in its final, road-ready form.
The I.D 3 will be offered in three battery sizes, offering ranges between 330 and 550km, and although the current list of standard equipment is still to be confirmed, we can expect a high-level of specification. The I.D 3 1st will offer large wheel rims, voice control, navigation, IQ light and a bi-colour design.
Volkswagen have already received over 10,000 requests for pre-booking, meaning that if you want to get your hands on one of these limited-edition models, (just 30,000 1st’s will be made) you’ll have to be quick.
Any other questions you may have on the range, or on electric mobility, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your nearest Vindis Volkswagen retailer.
