Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is welcoming back the California Beach model, to join the current range of Coast and Ocean trims.
The California Beach will be introduced in two variants, the Camper and Tour, both with a high level of standard features for you to enjoy on and off the road. Both Camper and Tour variants feature a pop-up, hydraulic roof and smart 17” alloy wheels. Inside there’s a colour DAB+ radio with App Connect feature and a camping table and chairs, that store neatly into the sliding door and tailgate when not in use. The main difference between the two models is the addition of a small kitchen space in the Camper variant, making it a better option for those looking for long trips away with those home comforts.
The Tour model, in addition to the above, comes with five seats as standard, and the option to increase this to six or even seven seats. This makes the California Beach a fantastic, stylish alternative to the usual MPV for larger families. There’s sliding doors on both sides of the van for easy access for all passengers.
Alternatively opt for the Camper model and you’ll find four seats, or an option to increase to five, a pull-out mini kitchen with a single gas hob, a single sliding door and a pull-out awning for relaxing rest breaks.
Beneath the bonnet there’s a 2.0 TDI offering 150PS alongside Volkswagen’s smooth DSG automatic gearbox, so there’s plenty of power for your next adventure and an easy driving experience if you’re lucky enough to get behind the wheel.
We’ll be welcoming the California Beach model at the end of October, with first deliveries expected in March 2021, so there’s not long to wait! If you want to find out more, our teams are on hand to help answer all of your questions, and get you booked in on a test drive as soon as we have demo vehicles available.
