What does that plate mean?

Over the past few months, you may have noticed some changes to UK Registration Plates. Here are two plate changes we want our customers to be aware of.

1: Electric Vehicle Identifications  - All Fully New & Used Electric vehicles leaving our dealerships are likely to be fitted with the standard UK Registration Plate featuring a green rectangle on the left side of each plate. Although this is not a legal requirement these plates have been introduced to make it easier to identify electric cars, where you could also benefit from cheaper parking and free entry into clean air zones.

2: Oversea's Plate Requirements ⛱- Most recently updated (28/09/2021) this plate has a very small change however this change is a legal requirement if you’re planning to drive your car abroad. You will be required to have a number plate with a UK identifier or/as well as display a UK sticker instead of GB. This change is said to have been made to be “inclusive of Northern Ireland” in the wake of Brexit. Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland and Wales, whereas the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
