Air Conditioning Service

To keep your air conditioning working at its optimum, let our Audi Trained Technicians perform a comprehensive service. They’ll top up the gas in the system and carry out an antibacterial clean.

The Air Conditioning system within your Audi purifies and dehumidifies the air inside, which also helps prevent the windows excessively misting up. However, if the air conditioning system is not regularly serviced a build-up of bacteria and other airborne particles can reduce its efficiency, create unpleasant odours and trigger allergies.

To keep your air conditioning system working at maximum efficiency we recommend that you have an air conditioning service at least every two years, which will reduce the risk of major component failure due to lack of lubrication inside and moisture control.

The service will be carried out by our Audi Trained Technicians and will top up the gas within the systems as well as perform an inspection of the internal components of the system including the hoses, connectors and cooling fan and compressor drive belt.

This is an ultrasonic treatment that will destroy bacteria, fungus and mildew from your air conditioning vents, ensuring your Audi is as pure as it should be.

Cam Belt

The cam belt is one of the hardest working components in an engine. Made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates over time, even with low mileage, it should be replaced in good time to avoid significant damage to the engine.

Cam belt wear and tear is influenced by a number of factors including time, mileage and various sources of contamination, therefore it’s essential that it is inspected and replaced regularly.

Cam belt replacement is a complex, labour-intensive operation. By entrusting your car with us you can be confident that the work is being done by Audi Trained Technicians.

For more information on our cam belt replacement service please speak to a member of our team.

Cam Belt and Waterpump

A water pump is there to make sure that coolant is circulated around the engine. On certain Audi engines this is driven by the cam belt and is used to tension it.

As a result your cam belt may need tightening if it is new. It is also possible for your water pump to leak if re-positioned to your new cam belt, and a new water pump may be needed.

When we service the cam belt and water pump we will strip down the relevant components and renew the belt and cam belt tensioner.

Brake Fluid Change

Your Audi is beautifully designed and engineered, and so are your brakes to ensure that they bring you to a smooth safe stop every day.

Your brake fluid is just as important as the brake discs, as when you press the brake pedal the fluid transfers the force onto the wheel hub, which generates heat. Brake fluid is hygroscopic which means it absorbs moisture over time, the heat generated whilst braking will in turn reduce the temperature at which the fluid boils. The fluid can only work if it is a liquid and not so hot that it has transformed into vapour. This could result in increased stopping distances, reduced braking efficiency and potentially brake failure.

The brake fluid in your Audi should be replaced every two years** to ensure prevention of brake failure and maintaining the boiling point at a safe level.

*Terms and conditions apply, please speak to your Service Advisor for more details. ** First brake fluid change at three years, subsequent changes at two years for vehicles built after June 2006. Please be aware that for new models registered after 28 May 2018, Brake Fluid Change is required every two years and then every two years after that.

Brake Pads Rear

When you press the brake pedal as well as slowing your Audi down, the circular discs that rotate within the wheels are gripped by brake pads. This is the action which causes the car to slow down.

If your brakes aren't looked after properly your Audi wont brake as efficiently as it should, it can also cause the car to vibrate and become noisy when braking.

If you have your brake pads serviced with us we will replace your brake pads using only genuine Audi parts and we will also complete a complimentary health check of your vehicle. *Excl Q5
